This was a great day! It was my birthday! I turned 23! Hard to believe; that used to seem so old. Shannon and her kids were down for Spring Break. Its always fun when Shannon comes down, cause Britni lives in town and its just one big party. These are our 3 babies: Macady (6 months), Sophie (5 months), Briggs (5 weeks). Not to far off in body size, just coloring, skills, and head size.
In the morning, as a tradition, Guy woke me up by singing me Happy Birthday and giving me my gifts. He got me some picture frames, and a pair of cute cowgirl boots. I LOVE them!! He is very good at coming up with such great gift ideas! I am very lucky! That night, Guy took me on a date (without Briggs). We went to Denny's because I wanted one of their free desserts like I had gotten last year. Turns out they don't give free desserts anymore. They give a free grand slam. I wanted to order dessert, but Guy said, "don't worry about it". So after dinner we rented a movie and went to our house to finish our date (without Brigham). About 10 min into the movie, Guy stopped it and said, "lets go." "Ok. Do I need to bring anything?" "Nope". He made me close my eyes as we drove but its not too hard to figure out where you're going, esp when its to my parents. So we walked in the door and caught everyone by surprise...they weren't quite ready to surprise me! We had delicious choc cake and to my surprise, all the kids gave me a gift. They had gone to the dollar store that day and each picked out a present. So I got some pretty "neat" and interesting gifts. For example: Dathan, my ?6 yo? nephew, got me a big, fake, squishy fly. an easter decoration, an easter decorating kit, a Wii tennis racket, a ball and bat, a balloon, and a swim bag. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. It was lots of fun! I had a great birthday!! Thanks everyone!
