Guy

Guy likes to serenade me with the guitar and I LOVE it! His favorite song to sing is about a Scottsman... if you haven't heard it, you'll have to have him sing it for you next time you see him. I love listening to Guy play the guitar, but I especially love listening to him sing (which usually comes with playing the guitar).

Baby Shower

Thanks to everyone who came to the baby shower! It was lots of fun being with friends and family and getting so many cute and needed things. I brought my camera and even told my sister that we had to remember to take pictures. We didn't even get one!! So this is after at my house in the baby's room. I want to especially thank Britni, Sarah, and Mom who put it together and Mother Nolan and Emily for providing the food. It all turned out perfect!!

Bowling?!

Call me crazy!! For our date, we decided to go bowling with Jonathan and Sarah. It didn't even cross my mind that I'm 37 weeks pregnant and hmmm......maybe that's not such a good idea. I learned my lesson though: I lost miserably, and I could barely walk the next day. I think we'll stick to dinner and a movie from here on out!

The order is Stef, Guy, Sarah, and Jonathan.... apparently Nolans aren't blessed with mad bowling skills, although we've got good form...

And me... I debated posting this picture or not for quite a while, but lets face it.... its pretty funny. I couldn't keep it all to myself.

37 weeks

This is actually a picture from 36 weeks... I can't believe how close I am to having this baby. I wish he'd come already! I'm nervous, but at the same time, sleepless nights and saggy skin are looking pretty good when I think about all the things I will be able to do: bend over and put my shoes on, lay on my back, breath, lay down with the contents of my stomach staying in my stomach, hug Guy like a normal person, walk not waddle, and wear normal clothes (I realize this one will take some time after having the baby)!!
But for now, we wait. Which in reality is a good thing. We still have quite a bit to do before baby comes. Just last night, Guy asked if I had a game plan for when "its time". Nope. That's definitely at the top of our list now. The problem is, we really don't have a clue what to expect, which is I'm sure how it is for most people their first. So we'll come up with something. Any suggestions?

You might be a red neck if....

...you have shot gun shells in your front yard. After living in a trailer in the junk yard, I think we were beginning to morph into our surroundings. Guy got a new shotgun and was showing it off to a friend. I didn't think anything of it until my mom pointed out the shot gun shell in our front yard with a Really?-You're-that-big-of-a-hick?-look on her face. It was pretty funny! So the good news?..... WE MOVED!! No more opening the gate to leave! This was a pretty quick decision with lots of hidden stress, but I am so grateful for it! We now live in a nice new condo with 3 bedrooms. Perfect timing with the baby! We're still not done unpacking all of our junk, but I love it here. Pictures will come when its all done. Thanks to all who helped with the move! It was VERY much appreciated! I'm pretty worthless when it comes to lifting things and was very grateful to have the help of my family! Thanks again Jonathan, Sara, Seth, Ethan, Andrew, Joshua, Michael, Kami, Derek, and Mom!!

Happy Birthday to Us!

One year down, eternity to go!! I can't believe its already been a year!! I am in love and it just keeps growing! Our anniversary was Dec 19. We started the day off by doing sealings and then went to Scottsdale to a really nice resort. That was also a great day!

AAS

After 4 years of school, I finally have my degree!! No, I am not Stefani S Nolan, RN...yet. But I am Stefani S Nolan with an AAS!! Thats right, 4 years and an associates. Kind of sounds sad, but I am very excited and very proud of it! Hopefully soon I will take my state boards and get my RN. These are pictures of a very pregnant me (32 weeks) and my class at our pinning ceremony (nursing equivalent to graduation). After the ceremony, my cheering section (I told Guy he better be the loudest one in the auditorium when it was my turn and he got the help of our family) and I celebrated at the greatest restaurant in town, La Casita. Thanks Guy, Mom and Dad, Jessica, Lincoln, Grandma Lunt, Mother and Papa, Jonathan, Sara, and Porter for coming!! That was a very happy night!!

Not the best picture, but it is all I have. Sorry Valerie, you're kind of cut off.

My mom pinned me. I can't get over how funny pregnant women look when they hug. sigh...oh well.

I love this Guy and am so glad I could celebrate with him!! (This is the day before our anniversary)

I had to add a little tribute to Jeck... she's in Utah and I miss her!

Our First Tree

Last year, we didn't put any decorations up...not even a tree. I almost felt like a grinch, but A) we got married on the 19 of Dec. and B) there was no way a tree would fit in our house..er..closet, whatever you call it. So I was really excited to get a tree this year and start our own traditions. Of course we got the pre-lit Walmart special. It didn't take long to put it up which gave us plenty of time for the other half of our Christmas Tree evening... MuddyBuddies! I saw it on a cereal box & craved it (blame it on the pregnancy), so I made it several times over the Holidays. We decided this needed to be a tradition. Yumm!

Guy did most of the tree. (Go THS spiritline!)

I helped a little, but this was mostly a posed picture. I made the muddy-buddies...hence, the apron (thanks Jess).

Nebraska Hunting

Every year, the Nolan boys go on a hunting trip. In November, Guy and some of his brothers went hunting in Nebraska... for a week! Those are two of Guy's favorite things: being with his brothers and shooting. Needless to say, he absolutely loved it!!

Grandpa Pat, Guy, Jonathan, Aaron, & Seth

Guy got one!!

The whole gang (minus Papa): (clockwise starting at bottom left) Grandpa Pat, Aaron Rogers (brother-in-law), Jonathan Nolan, Seth Nolan, Ethan Nolan, Bill (James' dad), Farmer who's land they hunted on, James (friend from Nebraska), and Guy

Papa Nolan, Aaron, Ethan, Guy, Grandma Ellie, Grandpa Pat, Jonathan, and Seth

Thanks Grandpa Pat and Grandma Ellie for making it this trip possible!!

Nolan Family Pictures

Back in November, the Nolans took family pictures. This is my favorite...

Guy and I took pictures with just us, but I look like a beached whale so... no one gets to see them. :)
