39 weeks, 5 days...

....and nothing!! No contractions!! I'm dilated to a one, but that's about it! My older sisters have both delivered all of their kids early. People say that comparing yourself to your sisters is usually a pretty safe bet. I honestly thought I was going to deliver early. BIG MISTAKE!! This last week has been pretty torturous! People warned me that the end was the worst, but I never understood. I've been trying to have a good attitude and I keep praying for patience, but I'm ready for this little boy to be here!! I have another appointment on Thurs and hopefully we hear some really good news!! Keep us in your prayers!!

    Okay - ALL of my kids were overdue and you're right it's torture!! My first was a pretty hard delivery. I don't think my body knew what to do, but because I had a WONDERFUL nurse that was willing to work with me I was able to have him without a c-section. Hang in there!! I can't wait to hear how it all goes and see pictures!!
